According to Santorum, Obama's Apology was "weak"

In a recent interview with Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum on ABC's Sunday night news, he stated that President Obama is displaying "weakness". Santorum stated that President Obama's apology to Afghanistan for burning the koran on an American base demonstrated "weakness" to them. He also stated that there was "no act that needed to be apologized."

Overall I think that President Obama did what needed to be done to comply with Afghanistan and show them that the whole country wasn't trying to disrespect the koran. I also think that this shows how American's are trying and willing to work together and move on from the past.

  1. It's interesting how one segment of the political spectrum feels we should seldom apologize for our actions regarding other cultures, and the other side of the political spectrum sees nothing wrong with apology for our actions. Sometimes I think an apology is necessary...it's a case by case situation in my opinion...
