Springfield Parking Abuser's Better Pay up!

The city of Springfield is warning there people to pay up on there past due parking tickets, otherwise it could be deducted out of there state refund checks, retirement's, and even payroll checks. Springfield could become one of the first municipalities in Illinois to recover outstanding debts through the Office of Comptroller's Local Debt Recovery Program. The city would turn-over a list of violators to the state, where they would check to see. If a match is found, the amount owed plus  an administrative fee of $15 will be added to the amount owed and deducted from the total.

Overall, I think that this is a good move for the state of Illinois. With the State being broke, we could use the money! I also think that this will help send a message to all the people that don't pay up on there parking tickets including city and state workers along with retired people also!
